Catherine Pérusse-Daigneault complète actuellement sa dernière année au baccalauréat en Théâtre - profil Design à l’Université Concordia a Montréal.  A l’automne 2012, elle a été assistante aux costumes de la conceptrice Dominique  Coughlin pour Peleus and Thetis, une pièce issue de cinq années de partenariat et échanges entre l’Université Concordia et l’Académie nationale d’art théâtral chinois, mise en scène par Robert Reid et Suosen Lu. Au cours de la même année, elle a également participé à la réalisation des accessoires pour les productions théâtrales Peleus and Thetis, The Seventh Seal et Peer Gynt, toutes présentées à Concordia.

Avant ses études universitaires, Catherine a étudié en arts plastiques au cegep Montmorency. Au cours de ses études, elle a été sélectionnée pour représenter son cégep au festival inter-collégial d’arts plastiques avec son oeuvre Over-Rated. Une œuvre multidisciplinaire incluant la photographie et la sculpture. Over-Rated a également été exposée à la maison des citoyens de la ville de Boisbriand. Une autre de ses œuvres, T3mps, a été exposée a Montmorency l’année suivant sa graduation.

En hiver 2014 prochain, Catherine assurera la conception des accessoires pour la pièce Tonigth We Play a Soggetto.

 

Catherine Pérusse-Daigneault is finishing her last year of bachelor in Design for Theater at Concordia University in Montreal. In Fall 2012, she was the costume assistant for Dominique Coughlin for Peleus and Thetis, a play created after a five years partnership between Concordia University and the national academy of chinese theater, directed by Robert Reid and Suosen Lu. During the same year she helped making the props for the productions Peleus and Thetis, The Seventh Seal et Peer Gynt, all presented at Concordia.

Before University, Catherine studied fine arts at cegep Montmorency. During that time, she was selected to represent her school at the festival « inter-collégial d’arts plastiques »  with her creation : Over-Rated. It was a multidisciplinary piece including photography and sculpture. Over-Rated was also exposed at the citizen house in Boisbriand. An other creation, T3mps, was exposed at Montmorency during the years following her graduation

In winter 2014, Catherine will be designing the props for the play Tonigth We Play a Soggetto.
